How is this different from Mac Dictation?

Ducduc adds AI cleanup, translation, and a personal dictionary to speech recognition. It removes fillers and repeats, and organizes your draft.How cleanup strengths behave

Do I need an internet connection?

Cloud cleanup needs internet. To run locally, download speech assets, install Ollama and a model, select the model, then enable Offline mode.Local setup and trade-offs

Can it insert text into every field?

Most text fields work. Password fields and secure input can block insertion; use the copy card or History. Switching apps during cleanup may also trigger a copy card.Terminal and secure-input limitations

I've paid. Why does the app still show Upgrade?

Paste your Polar license key into Settings → Account. A browser subscription does not activate the Mac app automatically. Find the key in your order email or customer portal.Get activation help
